Pulsar Digisight Recon 550R Digital Night Vision Scope 78031 is a durable digital Night Vision scope from Pulsar with integral video recording capabilities and a built-in infrared illuminator. The Digisight Recon 550R is outfitted with a five-lens eyepiece to minimize distortion on the edges of the field of view and increase sharpness and contrast of the image. The soft rubber eyecup conceals the light emission from the tube, permitting the user to remain in darkness. If the built-in infrared light is not enough to suit your needs, just mount additional accessories as required to the Pulsar Night Vision scope. The Pulsar Recon Night Vision Scope is equipped with a mount fitting combining a 1/4" tripod mounting socket and a 7/8" Weaver scope mount rail, for attaching a wide variety of lights.
The Pulsar Recon 550R Night Scope is a fully self-contained night vision device operating on four AA batteries. The Pulsar Recon features a two-tone LED indicator, lit green when the unit is on, and red when the night infrared light is active. The moderate intensity of the LED indicator will not illuminate the observer. A Brightness Adjustment Wheel allows you to control the brightness of the LCD screen's glow to preserve your night vision. An LCD color button controls the color of the screen glow and also activates the contrast feature.
The Recon 550R Nightvision Scope is equipped with a built-in video recording and photography capabilities, allowing instant recording during observation. Photography and video recording functions are activated by pressing the REC button. The Pulsar 550R Night Scope is equipped with a socket for connection of external video recording sources or a TV set to facilitate long-term stationary viewing, as well as video playback. A simple button push switches the unit from VIDEO IN mode to VIDEO OUT.
